Can I Request a Refund? Direct Purchase
When you purchase a subscription directly from 'The School of Life' website, this is under our fixed-term 12-month annual plan. Please be aware because you have the chance to preview the subscription content for free before you subscribed (via our website and the app) you do not have the statutory right to change your mind after purchase, unless there mitigating circumstances, or if an issue arises that we cannot resolve first.
We state clearly on our payment screen that, upon purchase, you agree to our Terms and Conditions. One clause we make explicitly clear on our payment page is that the customer agrees to waive their right to a 14-day cooling-off period if they continue with the purchase of the subscription. We offer a free preview of our website content (you can view three free articles a month), and we have a free trial via Google Play and Apple App Store to allow customers to try out the subscription before committing to purchase, so everyone is well informed in advance.
