How To Turn Off Auto Renew (Unsubscribe)
Unsubscribing from our digital subscription means you are turning off your auto-renew and your subscription will not automatically renew when it comes to your next billing period. Please be advised this is not the same action as "deleting" the app. To understand what the "delete" function means please read this article here.
The process of unsubscribing from the subscriptions varies depending on how you purchased the subscription to start with. You must refer back to the original platform from where you purchased your subscription from to be able to switch off your auto-renew.
Apple App Store
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap The School of Life app
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Google PlayStore, visit this page and select our app if you're on desktop, or follow these steps for Google Play on your phone/tablet device:
- On your Android device, go to your subscriptions in Google Play.
- Select the subscription that you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the instructions.

If you purchased the app directly from us, to cancel your auto-renew please follow these steps;
- Visit https://www.theschooloflife.com/log-in/
- Enter the same login details you use to login to the app into “My Account”
- In your account details you will see a tab called “Subscription”
- Here you will see your subscription status, expiry date and auto-renewal status.
- Select cancel to cancel your auto-renew.
